SUMMARY:Celebrate Minnesota
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate MN is pleased to announce today plans for a community event at the Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park this fall. The concert event on Sept. 8 will feature performing artists Crowder and Jeremy Camp with Lecrae as well as special guests and surprises. \nTickets are on sale. All tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster or by calling or visiting the Ledge Box Office on Friday from 10 am to 2 pm. \n“We’re looking forward to seeing our community come together once again for an unforgettable experience\,” said Dawn Zimmerman\, president of the Celebrate MN Board and chair of the 2024 Steering Committee leading the organization’s activities this year. \nCelebrate MN hosted a two-day festival at Whitney Park last August\, featuring a variety of musical performers and entertainment for all ages. It brought together about 40\,000 people for fun\, connection and a message of hope. \n“We continue to hear stories about how the August event made an impact in our community\,” Zimmerman said\, “and people keep asking about our plans for 2024\, so we’re excited to be able to share them today.” \nThis marks the first event of its kind at the Ledge\, a premier concert venue nestled in between two quarries. Proceeds will benefit local projects supporting youth. \nCrowder is a Texas-based singer and songwriter known for his wide-ranging fusion of pop\, rock\, folk\, electronic\, bluegrass and hip-hop. Jeremy Camp has released twelve albums\, five of them RIAA-certified as Gold\, selling over 6 million albums with 44 #1 singles across all formats. Grammy Award winning rapper Lecrae has won 24 awards and received an additional 51 nominations for his music. \nCelebrate MN is a community-wide effort to connect\, serve and impact Central Minnesota. Led by a group of business\, civic and church leaders\, the St. Cloud-based organization focuses on bringing together the community with fun\, service and messages of hope. Get connected. \nMore details here. \nTo purchase tickets click HERE

SUMMARY:OneChild Radio Event
DESCRIPTION:You can make a difference around the world! \nWe invite you to sponsor a child through our partnership with OneChild. As a sponsor you’ll be part of a global community of Child Champions\, bringing hope to children in some of the world’s hardest places. Your sponsorship will provide holistic care so your sponsored child can overcome barriers and thrive. \nOneChild serves more than 40\,000 children around the world. They work in many of the hardest places. \nPlaces where others can’t go.\nPlaces where Christians can be persecuted.\nPlaces where gang violence is rampant.\nPlaces where people have been forgotten.\nPlaces where children are suffering.\nPlaces where kids need help the most. \nOur afternoon host and Program Director on The Pulse Dave Wonders\, traveled to Nicaragua with OneChild recently. \nSee what Dave has to say: \n I recently had the privilege of visiting OneChild’s Hope Centers in Nicaragua\, where I met some incredible kids. Each one is uniquely gifted by God and full of potential to become a world-changer. But these children and children just like them around the world need your help to thrive. \nFor just $44 a month\, you can provide a child living in poverty with nutritious food\, educational support\, medical care\, and—most importantly—the opportunity to discover the hope and love of Jesus Christ. Your sponsorship can transform the life of one child\, and in the process\, God may use that child to transform your life as well. \n  \nOneChild brings hope to the children in need through four vital tools: faith\, education\, health\, and relationships. Each child is given a voice and gets to have individualized care in all these areas in order to build up a strong community and Church presence for generations. \nJoin us March 12th & Marth 13th \nas we host a radio event to focus of these children.\nDon’t Wait!  Click Below.\n Pulse OneChild Page\n Word OneChild Page

SUMMARY:St. Patrick's Day Parade & Celebration in Crosslake
DESCRIPTION:For 51 years\, Crosslake has been celebrating the coming of Spring with a St Patrick’s Day Parade. What started out in the 70’s as a remedy for Cabin Fever\, has grown into a destination event for thousands of green-clad\, Irish-for-a-day\, weekend enthusiasts. Some build a float and travel the 2-mile-long route tossing hundreds of pounds of candy and trinkets\, and others set up lawn chairs\, days in advance to get ”their perfect spot” for family and friends. While the parade is the highlight\, the celebration begins days before as we sweep the streets of snow\, adorn our shops in green and pre-game with a Treasure Hunt\, Live Music\, the Clover Dash 5K and more! Mark your calendars for March 14-16\, 2024 and see for yourself why the Crosslake St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Celebration has been declared the Best of the Brainerd Lakes AND the Best in the State!
